What fees does Copart charge?
Every Copart purchase includes four fees on top of the winning bid:
Payment Fee
The main buyer surcharge. Tiered by bid amount — the more you pay, the higher the flat fee, until higher price ranges switch to a percentage of the bid.
Online Bid Fee
Charged when you participate virtually rather than in-person at the lot. Also tiered by bid amount. Free for bids under $100.
Gate Fee
A per-vehicle administrative fee covering lot handling and vehicle staging for pickup. $79 for clean titles, $95 for non-clean titles.
Environmental Fee
A flat $15 fee applied to every vehicle, regardless of bid amount or title type.
